Restructuring and Women's Work
volume 27 numbers 3 and 4

This issue of RFR/DRF explores how women are adapting to and resisting change brought about by transitions in post-industrial capitalist society. The contributors look at how women are responding to the terrain of structural adjustment, how they are organizing for change and what new initiatives are emerging as a result. They focus on the work of foster mothers and homecare workers, volunteer boards and community health services, on post-Communist restructuring and the emergence of exploitative labour arrangements.
