In the Therapist Chair

As part of recording and interpreting the history of multicultural (diversity) counselling and psychotherapy, the Department of Adult Education and Counselling Psychology (OISE/UT) will be offering a seminar series called: "In the Therapist Chair", in which people who have made a significant contribution to the field of multicultural (diversity) counselling and psychotherapy will be invited to share (disclose) their life experiences, research and writings, and also to reflect on the future of multicultural counselling and psychotherapy.

In the first of this series, one of the pioneers of multicultural counselling and internationally known, Dr. Clemmont E. Vontress, Professor Emeritus of Counseling at George Washington University, Washington, DC will be "In the Therapist's Chair".

There will also be a pre-conference event on Sunday June 6, "A Conversation on Black Men: Facing the Future."
