Secondary Reform

This four-year initiative, supported by the Ontario Ministry of Education, was designed to build the capacity of School Implementation Teams from over 800 secondary schools to put policy and curriculum reform in effect. Initially, a 5-day intensive residential program was provided for 12 pilot schools from throughout the province to develop a planning strategy.

In the following phase, 72 French and English District Teams from throughout the province participated in 6 days of training. These District Teams then trained 800 School Implementation Teams.

A trainer manual and large range of resource materials were developed to support the work of all teams.
