Bryan Leadership Development Initiative

This was the final year of training in the Bryan Leadership Development Initiative, a 5-year leadership development program in Greensboro, North Carolina. The OISE/UT team that provided feedback and advice, monitored progress and identified challenges to the three partners of the initiative.

Through Guilford County Schools, the Joseph Bryan Foundation, and the Center for Creative Leadership, a well-known provider of leadership training to the corporate and non-profit sector, supported by funding from the Bryan Foundation, 15 member teams from 21 GCS schools received both off-site training and in-school coaching. In April 2002, a Learning Fair was held that recognized the progress in each of the 21 schools.
